LAND LULL CONTINUES

EGYPTIAN FRONT ALLIED AIR ACTIVITY (British Official Wireless.) (11 a.m.) RUGBY, Aug. 14. A communique issued in Cairo states that during Wednesday night our patrol activity continued and casualties were inflicted on enemy patrols and working parties in the northern sector. Our artillery shelled a position in the central sector. Yesterday there was nothing to report from our land forces. Throughout the day fighter-bombers attacked enemy vehicles and encampments. Our light bombers sank at least one motor lighter off the African coast.
