Cancer Cures Reported
The need for consulting a doctor early where suspicious symptoms pointed to cancer, was emphasised in Fhe report which the chairman, Sir Hugh Acland, presented at the annual meeting of the Canterbury division oi the Empire Cancer Campaign Society. ‘lt is gratifying to be able to report, many cases cured of cartcer, said Sir jlugh. “At the same time, it is disappointing to see many people who through fear or ignorance, delay too long before seeking advice.
