At a meeting of the Gisborne Power Boat 1 Club last night it- was decided to suspend the[ club subscription ns from 'the Inst halnifce: date last year, ’ 1 This decision was made-as it was’, not considered fair to the honorary supporters of the club who could no longer rise their powcr'boats through ilaciv'Of,.petrqj.) The fact that many members were servipg with the forces vyas ,ahpther mattey-vyi&i.e.h influenced the decision. .The CUlfc will continue to function, however, and members will be permitted to, have the ; use of the club’s sheds for their eandea -and other boats, provided they pay a rental fee.
