CANADIAN ICE-BREAKER ADVENTUROUS TRIP (11.30 a.m.) OTTAWA, Aug. 13. Captain S. Slocombe, of Toronto, has reported back to the Federal Transport Department after an adventurous trip. He delivered the Canadian Government ice-breaker Montcalm to the Soviet authorities. Captain Slocombe said his ship convoy was attacked on three successive days by German bombers and torpedo-carrying planes.
