(9 a.m.) NEW YORK, Aug. 9. Keo Nakama, the Hawaiian swimmer, broke the world's mile record at the outdoor championships in New London, Connecticut. Nakama’s time was 20fnim 29sec., as against the previous record of 20min, 57jjsec.
