ALASKAN WATERS
DANGEROUS FOR SHIPS \ • (9 a.m.) NEW YORK, July 3. Major-General Buckner, co; manding the Alaska defences, has proclaimed all the Alaskan coastal waters westward of Cape St. Elias, extending 20 miles offshore, to be a mobile zone dangerous to navigation. Vessels are warned to enter only under the Navy direction.
