U.S. ARMY SUPPLY BILL
(9 a.m.) WASHINGTON, July 1. The Senate passed the £10,705.000,000 army supply bill, the largest ever submitted to Congress. Legislative action for this recordbreaking supply appropriation was completed without a debate. Provision is made for the construction of 23.550 planes and 100,000 tanks, and £2,925,000,000 for lend-lease.
