SEVEN NAZIS DOWNED
ATTACKS ON MALTA (9 a.m.) LONDON, June 28. In the past 24 hours, seven Axis planes have been destroyed over Malta and others damaged, states a communique. Enemy bombers yesterday afternoon, escorted by a large number of fighters, attacked the harbour area and the aerodrome, causing slight damage to civilian property. , Our fighters suffered no losses in the various engagements.
