UAWA COUNTY COUNCIL * NOTICE OF INTENTION TO LEVY GENERAL RATE ■pUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given J that the Uawa County Council at a meeting to be held on FRIDAY', 17th JULY, 1942, will proceed, in pursuance of the powers conferred upon it under Section 120 and 121 of the “Counties Act, 1920.” Sections 51 to 59 of “The Rating Act, 1925,” and any amendments to such Acts, to make and levy on the unimproved value of all rateable properties in the several ridings of the County the following general rates: — ARAKIHI a rate of 6Jd. in the £. HAUITI a rate of 4sd. in the £. MANGAHEIA a rate of 41d. in fhe 'MANG'ATUNA'a'rate'oFJjd’. in the ' £. ' TAUWHAREPARAE a rate of old. /■' in the £. TOLAGA a rate of 73d. in the ,£. Also an annual recurring special rate of two' pence halfpenny in the £ for each of the abovementioned ridings. The foregoing rates are for the period commencing on the Ist day of APRIL, 1942, and ending on the 31st day of MARCH, 1943. and are due and payable in one sum on the 27th day of JULY, 1942, at the Office of the County, Solander Street, Tolaga Bay. Pursuant to Section G 4 of the Rateing Act, 1925, a rebate of two and one half (21) per cent will be.allowed on all current rates with the exception of the Huanui special rate which are paid before the expiration of thirty (30) days after the due date.
