JAPANESE GAS BOMB
DROPPED IN CHINA
FAILED TO EXPLODE
(2 40 p.m.) LONDON, May 19. The'Chungking official radio quoted the China Central News report that an unexploded gas bomb, dropped by a Japanese aeroplane, had been found in the Shensi province. The bomb weighed 2001 b.. was 140 centimetres high and 27 centimetres thick. It had been taken by a removal squad to anti-aircraft, headquarters.
