Meeting Schedule The increase in the petrol allowance has caused an alteration in the plans of the Cook Hospital Board which at its meeting yesterday agreed to revert to its former timetable and to commence its meetings at 1 p.m. During the past few months, while sufficient petrol was not available to bring country members to town, the meetings were commenced at 11 a.m. Gas Mask Manufacture In a letter to the Cook Hospital Board yesterday, the director of medical services stated that’an issue of gas masks to E.P.S. personnel and in some cases to civilians was under consideration. The respirators were patterned on the English standard and were made in New Zealand. The chairman, Mr. M. T. Trafford, and the managing-secretary, Mr. C. A. Harries were asked to go into the question of requirements for the hospital.
