TRAINING IN AMERICA
NETHERLANDS AIRMEN (9130 a.m.) SAN FRANCISCO, April 19 Major-General van Oyen. commander of the Netherlands East Indies Air Force, left by plane for Washington to discuss with American officials a plan for training Dutch pilots in the United States. Major-General van Oyen said lie hoped to obtain the exclusive use; of one American training field for the purpose. He declared that experienced Dutch fliers would be brought here from Australia to . form the nucleus of a teaching staff and also student fliers would come from Austalia. returning there when their courses were completed.
