Majestic.—“ Hit Parade of 1941” and “Biondie in Society” conclude to-night. Boris Karloff’s latest mystery-murder drama, "Doomed to Die,” which commences on Monday, is one of a series based on Hugh Wiley’s James Lee Wong detective stories. Karloff again appears.as Wong, with Grant Withers as the policeman, Captain Street, and Marjorie Reynolds is a newspaper reporter. The associate feature is the "Higgins Family”, comedy, “Meet the Missus.” King’s.—“ The Little Foxes” presents a magnificently moving drama, flawlessly acted by a great emotional star and a brilliant supporting cast, directed with rare understanding, and produced with lavish care — all elements combined to make a masterly motion picture. Bette Davis, a most exciting star, is unforgettable in this, picture, and is ably supported by that brilliant artist Herbert Marshall. "The “Little Foxes” is now screening at’ the King's Theatre. Regent.— I ‘Call a Cop,” the George Formby comedy at the Regent Theatre, is proving highly popular entertainment. Formby, in his inimitable style, undergoes hair-raising adventures before "getting his man,” and in between times takes the opportunity to sing four popular songs. The associate programme is an outstanding one.
