RESUMPTION OF RAIDS BETTER A.R.P. SERVICES (2 p.m.) LONDON, April 13. The City of London authorities are using the raiding lull to make a comprehensive improvement in the A.R.P. services. Particular attention is being given to shelters which are more numerous and all equipped with steel bunks. First-aid facilities are vastly improved. Doctors are undertaking regular night duty, including inspections of the shelters at present being used in order to ensure that the health of those using them will not be impaired. Pulpits, screens, fonts, altar tables, bells, and even organs have been removed from many city churches against the possibility of renewed raiding. In connection with the regulations to limit the prices chargable for meals served in hotels and restaurants, which will be issued shortly, the sale of fish, game, and poultry will be prohibited on specified days. Meals will be limited to three courses. The serving of meals will be prohibited after 11 p.m. except to residents of hotels and establishments catering for night workers. The Government will discourage luncheons and dinners attracting large numbers which ai'O held for other than public purposes.
