RAZOR BLADE HOLDER

FREE ISSUE TO FORCES COMBINATION UNIT (P.A.) WELLINGTON, this day. A combination razor blade holder is being manufactured in Wellington from scrap metal plate to the order of the National Patriotic Fund Beard for issue free to New Zealand forces overseas as a substitute for small scissors.

The holder was designed by Mr. S. Blackley, a member of the Wellington Provincial Patriotic Council, and embodies a nail file, nail cleaner, shaving mirror, bottle opener, a three-inch scale and a protractor. Mr. Blackley has given the board the sole New Zealand rights for the duration of the war. Thereafter, any profits in New Zealand from commercial sales will go to the patriotic funds and the Soldiers' Civil Re-establishment League.
