PROTESTS IN PARIS
BOMBING BY R.A.F. DEMAND FOR HOSTAGES (1.30 p.m.) VICHY, Mar. 6. Two Paris newspapers, commenting on the Royal Air Force raid, demand that British subjects in France be treated as hostages. The Cfi' du Peuple further demands that British-owned property on the Riviera be handed over to' victims of the raid. Mourning for the raid victims will begin to-morrow morning and continue till noon on Sunday. Theatres; cinemas, and other public places will close all Saturday. A service is being held in Notre Dame on Sunday.
