UNITY ATTAINED

AUSTRALIA AND N.Z. STRATEGY AND SUPPLY CONCLUDING TALKS (Flee. Tel. Copyright—United Preps Ap.sn.) (11.30 a.m.) CANBERRA, Mar. 7. Consultations between the representatives of the Australian and New Zealand Governments concluded at Canberra yesterday. The Australian Prime Minister, Mr, J. Curtin, issued a statement that he was greatly impressed by the strength of the delegation, and convinced that the discussions have been of great advantage. Both Dominions could feel assured that they were one people with one interest in what was a common problem.

The New Zealand Minister of Supply, Mr. D. G. Sullivan, said he would return to New Zealand completely satisfied with the talks. “There has been absolute unanimity of opinion in matters of strategy and supply,” he said. “I am definitely happy about the outcome of the talks, which are the most important ever to take place between sister Dominions.”
