Lieutenant J. G. B. Morris, whose death in action in the Libyan campaign has been notified, was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Morris. Tolaga Bay, and a nephew of -Mr. W. G. Sherratt, Gisborne. He was commissioned in New Zealand, and went abroad with an early draft of the Second New’Zealand Expeditionary Force.
Mr. L. Illingworth, Gisborne, has received advice that his. brother, Lance-Corporal Alan Illingworth, Lyttelton, was killed in action on November 27. Lance-Corporal Illingworth lived in Gisborne for 24 years six or seven years ago.
