PARADE SCHEDULE
HOME GUARD UNITS BOOT ISSUE RENEWED A further supply of boots having been made available to the Gisborne Battalion, Home Guard, issues will be made this week to C Company on Wednesday, December 3, and to the Pipe Band, Motor-cycle Platoon and other details of Headquarters Company on Thursday, December 4. Parades for the week are as under: — Tuesday, December 2.—Physical instructors’ class, at Y.M.C.A. rooms, at 7.30 p.m. Wednesday, December 3.—A Company N.C.O.s, at lecture room, Sargood’s building's, at 7.30 p.m.; C Company, at Bignell and Holmes’ garage, at 7.30 p.m.; Military Band, at band-room, at 7.30 p.m.; Engineers’ Company, at High School, at 7.30 p.m.; Headquarters Company, medical and signals sections, at High School, at 7.30 p.m.; Motor-cycle Platoon, at Abercorn Hall, at 7.30 p.m.; Battalion Signals class, at High School, at 7.30 p.m. Thursday, December 4.-—Pipe Band, at Bignell and Holmes’ garage, at 7.30 p.m.
Sunday, December 7. —A Company, at Intermediate School, at 9 a.m.; B Company, at Kaiti School, at 9 a.m.; Engineers Company, at Awapuni road, at 9 a.m. (if wet, parade cancelled); Headquarters Company, medical and signals,"lT Childers Road Reserve, at 9 a.m.; Motor-cycle Platoon, with Territorials at Pouawa.
In connection with the physical instructors’ class parade this evening, Home Guard members have been invited to attend and take part in basketball games at the Y.M.C.A. rooms.
