MONTMARTRE BOMB
NAZI SOLDIERS KILLED CURFEW IMPOSED (Reed. Dec. 1, noon.) LONDON, Nov. 30. A report from Vichy &ays that a bomb was thrown on Friday night in a requisitioned Montmartre restaurant. It killed two German soldiers arid one Frenchwoman and injured other soldiers. The German commander, General von Schulenburg, has imposed a curfew at 5.30 p.m. in the Montmartre district. The underground stations were immediately closed and traffic was banned in the area.
A warning was issued to German patrols to shoot anyone out of doors after 6 p.m. and also anyone keeping their windows open after the curfew.
The Italian Stefani news agency says the bombing was the act of British and de Gaullist agents who 'are trying to disturb French-German relations on the eve of the meeting of Reichmarshal Goering and Marshal Petain.
The Berlin news agency announced that the state of civil emergency imposed in five Czech districts two months ago is being lifted on December I for the pacification of those areas.
