WOOL APPRAISALS
ROSTER FOR DOMINION GISBORNE OPENS SEASON (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day.
The New Zealand Woolbrokers’ Association has drawn up the roster for wool appraisals for the 1941-42 season as follows:
Gisborne, Tolaga Bay and Tokomaru Bay, November 10, December 4, January 10, February 14 . Auckland, November 14, December 9, January 15, February 9; Napier, November 18, December 13, January 20, February 18: Blenheim, December 8, January 8, February .10; Nelson, January 6, February 14; Christchurch, December 2, January 13, February 17; Timaru and Oamaru. January 17, March 2; Wanganui, November 21, December 16, January 24, February 22; Wellington, November 28, December 19, January 28. February 26; Dunedin, December 17, January 26; February 25; Invercargill, December 13, January 21, February 21. These dates are subject to altera tion. No appraisal dates are given for April.
The Gisborne and East Coast dates mentioned in the above telegram are a little different from those previously announced. The opening day for the first appraisal, November 10, is unchanged and marks the opening of the Dominion appraisal season. Also the date for February has not been altered from the date published previously in the Herald, while those for December and January have been varied by only a few days.
