Shooting Season
The Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. W. E. Parry, informed the North Island Acclimatisation Societies’ Council in Wellington that the shooting season for imported and native game in 1942 would be the same as in 1941. He said he believed the shorter season had been an improvement and had been reflected in the breeding of birds.
