COMPANY PAY-OUT 16cl HIGH GRADING POINTS (Spocial to Uio.Herald.) WAIROA, this day. The fourteenth annual report to be submitted to the annual meeting of shareholders of the Wairoa Co-opera-tive Dairy Company, Limited, proposes to pay out a further I’d per lb or. butterfat, in addition to the Id per lb disbursed in July, bringing the average payment for the past season up to 16.0753 d. for all grades. The previous season's average was 15.8059 d. The proposed payment of lld per lb will absorb approximately 18600, leaving a surplus of. £B3 16s Id to be carried forward. The estimated total amount of the cream cartage cpsts incur reel by suppliers individually is £2370, which represents .5295 c! per lb on the total number of pounds of butterfat received by the company in cream from all sources. The average grade of butter exported was 94.301, a result which can be achieved only, by continued efforts on the part of suppliers to maintain the quality of the raw product. The general store has had a successful year pf trading, and after paying all, expenses a rebate of 5 per cent on total purchases has been made to all shareholders who have dealt with the company ancl a balance of £lsl 11s Id has been carried forward to the credit of the store reserve account. During the year Messrs. J. Heslop ancl.C. Reeves, of the staff, joined the forces. The retiring directors are Messrs. G. E. Ormond and A. MeCorkindale, botli of whom again offer their services to shareholders. There is a further .vacancy, on the board caused by the retirement of Mr. H. R. Hickling.
