WELLINGTON’S RECORD 6.35 INCHES REGISTERED (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this, clay. Rain fell in Wellington to-day for tlie twentieth consecutive clay, breaking the record of 19 days’ rain established in June, 1837. The normal fall for August is 4.18 inches. Already C. 35 inches have been recorded at Kelburn. The previous record was equalled on Tuesday morning when .01 inches fell.
