Hostel For Australians

The honorary general secretary of the Australian Comforts Fund, Mr. C. R. McKerihan has received advice from the acting honorary Chief Commissioner, Major Eugene Gorman, that the Hotel Metropole in Beirut has been taken over' by the comforts fund as a hostel for members of the Australian forces. This is the third hostel established by the fund in the Middle East.
