BOMBING IN BRITAIN (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 2.40 p.m. RUGBY, Aug. 13. A Home Security communique' states: “This morning one or two enemy aircraft crossed the north-east coast and dropped bombs at points a short distance inland. No extensive damage was done, but a small number of casualties are reported. Elsewhere, there was very little enemy activity. A German communique states that the Luftwaffe last night attacked the arms works at Birmingham and port installations at Great Yarmouth and Ramsgate.
