PATUTAHI SOCIAL

(Hurald Correspondent.) Many relatives and friends attended a social and dance in the Patutalu Ilall on Teusday evening in honour ol two members of the forces leaving for overseas. Between dances enjoyable items were given by Miss B. Davidson, Miss B. Stewart, Messrs. Z. Thodey, B. Collins, J. Stewart, and G. Tupara. Dance music was supplied by Mrs. F. Ladd, extras being played by Mrs. G. Newman. Good wishes to the guests of honour, Private E. R Andrews and Corporal Baker, were extended by Mr. M. Pere and the Rev. H. Speight, who presented each soldier with a gift from the residents of the district. A delicious supper was served by members of the Patutahi Social Club,
