AUSTRALIAN PLANES
EXPANDING OUTPUT £7,000,000 THIS YEAR (Reed. Aug. 14, 10.30 a.m.) MELBOURNE, Aug. 14. The Australian Minister of Aircraft Production, Senator J. W. Leckie, said that Australia this year would produce aircraft worth £7,000,000 and next year planes costing £20,000.000. When the second Beaufort torpedobomber was tested soon, the new Beauforts could be expected off' the production line at a steadily increasing rate.
