MATAWAI GIRL WEDS
MALONE—CLARK (Herald Correspondent.) A wedding of much interest to many ■friends and relatives in the 'Matawai district was sdlemnised in the Catholic Church tin JRaglan on Friday, August 8, when Nell, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Clark, Wairata, Matawai, and -Brian E. Malone, third son of Mr. Fred Malone and the late Mrs. Malone, Puha, were joined in holy matrimony. The bride wore a grey frock with white collar and cuffs, and a navy “Scarlet O'Hara” hat, and navy accessories; and carried a bunch of red freesias. The bridesmaid. Miss Clare Vaudy, wore a pretty green frock with a green coatee to tone. Mr. Colin Ormiston was best man, and Mr. Hardy Sweetman gave the bride away. Mrs. Ormiston, in a smart black and white frock, and Miss Ormiston completed the wedding party. After the ceremony all were the guests of Mrs. Hardy Sweetman for afternoon tea. | Mr. and Mrs. Malone later left for ; Hamilton. I Leading Aircraftman B. E. Malone leaves shortly for overseas service.
