BRITAIN AND IRAN
NO MEDIATION NEEDED (Reed. Aug. 13, 2 p.m.) LONDON, Aug, 12. It is authoritatively stated that there is absolutely no confirmation of the report that Turkey has offered to mediate between Britain and Iran. Britain has received no such offer and no situation calling for mediation has arisen.
