30 MINERS ENTOMBED 22 DEAD; 3 INJURED (Reed. July 31, 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, July 30. Up to 30 miners were trapped by an explosion in the Grigglestone colliery, near Wakefield. It is known that the death roll is 22 dead and three injured. Relatives maintained a vigil throughout the night.
