New Zealandeio have participated in every major air operation sjnee the first leaflets were dropped on Germany. said the N. Z. Prime Minister, Mr. P. Fraser, in an interview in Edinburgh. At the outbreak of the war there were 450 New Zealanders in the Royal Air Force. Now there are over 2000. A New Zealand nignt fighter had brought down three German fighteis and four bombers in Tyneside’s fierccest blitz. Mr. Fraser met 12 New Zealanders at the Victoria League Club in Edinburgh. During a visit to an East Scotland shipyard where vessels have been built for New Zealand, Mr. Fraser thanked workers for helping not only the United Kingdom but the Dominions.
