BRITAIN AND RUSSIA SUPPLIES FOR WAR (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 2 p.m. ' RUGBY, July 30. Replying to a question in the House of Commons, the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Economic Warfare, Mr. Dingle Foot, said that much progress had been made in fulfilling the promise of economic assistance by the British Government to Russia, and considerable quantities of goods were now on the way to Russia from various parts of the Empire and from other countries supporting the Allied caufle. In return, valuable supplies were being made available by the Soviet Government for the common war effort, Mr, Dingle Foot added.
