MINIATURE RIFLES
NEW CONTEST SERIES PROMOTED MAN’S WIN Members of the Gisborne Miniature Rifle Club contested the first round of a new match in the trophy series on Saturday evening. There was a full attendance of members and the general high standard of scoring was maintained. In the A Grade A. Boys, who was recently promoted from B Grade, headed, the handicap list. with* a fine score of 99.33. Competition was very keen in the handicap section of the B Grade, with F. P. Evans taking pride of place. J. K. Aitken returned the highest score oif the rifle with a target of 96. Miss N. Bull, with 92, was the most successful among the women competitors, while K.
