FUNERAL SERVICE (Herald Correspondent.) The funeral of Mr. Robert Watson took place at Wairoa cemetery on Saturday. The service at the Nuhaka Presbyterian Church, conducted by Sister May Gardiner, was very impressive, and was attended by members of a., denominations. A beautiful hymn, “Give Us Thy Peace,” was sung by three mauve members of the church. Mrs. jNepia presided at the organ. The casket was borne to the churci. by Messrs. K. Watson, A. wa-soi. brothers of deceased, W. Root tint, r. •< Brewster, R. Lewis, and T. Howard. Mr. J. M. Taylor, cnairmun. e. nWairoa Hospnat Board, acted as . pallbearer m tne gravesioe.

Beautiful lloral tributes were received from the Nuhaka Women s\Va Service Auxiliary, the Nuhaka con. pany of the Home Guard, the Nunaiu .Women’s Institute, the Health Depart ment, Gisborne, members of tn Nuhaka Maori Presbyterian Church.

Master Graham South, Morere, is a patient in the Wairoa Hospital, where he has undergone an operation.
