SERVICE IN PACIFIC TRANSFER. OF BRITISH (Per Press' Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The a’cfing-Prime Minister, tlie Hon. W. Nash, stated last night that discussions were proceeding with a view to providing American ships for service in the Pacific and the releasing of some of the British ships now operating in that area for service elsewhere .
