U.S. SHIPS IN PACIFIC
REPLACING BRITISH
AUSTRALIAN RUN

The Maritime Commission announced that vessels flying the United States flag will supersede British vessels on routes between North America and Australia and New Zealand, thus releasing a dozen British vessels for war purposes.
