MEMORANDA

The Railway Department by advertisement draws attention to the fact that in connection with the rodeo at the Showgrounds and other attractions on Saturday, June 7, the afternoon train for Motuhora will be delayed to leave Gisborne at 4.15 o'clock, and the Showgrounds at 4.25 o’clock. An advertisement appears to-day dealing with the election of three producers’ representatives on the New .Zealand Meat Producers’ Board. In accordance with the provisions of the Meat Export Control Act, the members of the board who are to retire in August are Mr. IT. D. Acland, Christchurch, Mr. Lachlan Maclean, Hastings, and Mr. H. E. Worsp, Whangarei. These men offer themselves for re-election.
