Reed. 11 a.m. RUGBY, June 2. The Canadian Prime Minister, Mr. W. L.. Mackenzie King, in his broadcast on the occasion of the launching of the largest public loan ever issued in the Dominion, said: “Every day the total is added to by pilots from the British commonwealth air training plan. This year it will double the number of its enlistments. An evergrowing flow of Canadian flying personnel is reaching Britain.

“They are already crossing in thousands and will continue to come to you in ever-increasing numbers.” ~ In conclusion, Mr. Mackenzie King paid a "tribute to the British - Prime Minister, Mr. Winston Churchill, whom, he said, was “the captain of a great host of free men.”
