Sir Samuel Hordern has been reelected chairman of the principal board of the Australian Mutual Provident Society. Mr. Cecil H. Hoskins has been elected deputy-chairman.

Fulford, now stationed at Dover and well known in New Zealand. Rear-Admiral Fulford’s only son is Engineer-Lieutenant E. G. J. D. Fulford, now posted missing as the result of the loss of the Greyhound. Engineer-Lieutenant Fulford, who served in the Greyhound in the evacuation of Dunkirk and also in the Battle of Matapan, a few weeks ago, is a cousin of Mr. H. Fulford, Ruatoria,
