RAINFALL IN WAIROA

Rain fell on 10 days in Wairoa during May, the total for the month being 2.77 in., . compared with 0.78 in. for the corresponding month last year. The total rainfall recorded up to the end of May was 25.27 in„ as against 20.10 in. for the first five months oi 1940.
