PROTEST FROM VICHY (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 2 p.m. RUGBY, June 2. No reply has yet been made by Britain to the Vichy protest regarding the bombing of Sl'ax. The protest has, in fact, not yet arrived in Britain. Authoritative circles express the opinion that if Vichy says ttie protest had been “cultly, rejected” that is just trouble-making Axis propaganda—-and perhaps also bad conscience.
