Squadron’s Oldest Pilot
The average age of New Zealanders in the New Zealand Spitfire Squadron is 22, but one has the distinction of being 30—Sergeant Pilot R. J. Bullen, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. R. S. Bullen, New Plymouth, who has been nicknamed the “oldest inhabitant.”
