LITTLE DAMAGE DONE TWO BOMBERS DOWN (Recci. May 29, 2.50 p.m.) LONDON, May 28. An ’Air Ministry communique states: “There was little enemy activity over the country during the night. Bombs were dropped in East Anglia and at various points in southern England, from Kent to Cornwall. No substantial ’damage or casualties are reported. London has had no raids since May 19. An enemy bomber was shot down over south-east Scotland by fighters of the Royal Air Force this afternoon. At dusk yesterday an enemy bomber was intercepted off the Cornish coast by British fighters and shot down into the sea.
