ANOTHER POSSIBLE W. J. BURTON SCORES 100 A further round of the trophy and championship series was contested by members of the Gisborne Miniature Rifle Club on Saturday evening. There was a large attendance and scores in both grades were particularly close. In the A Grade, the third round of the trophy match is now completed and, with only the final shoot to be decided, competition has become both keen and interesting. W. J. Burton again succeeded in scoring a possible on Saturday and has consolidated his position in the lead for this match. In the B Grade the scoring-’had improved, P. Benney heading the list with 95. Mrs. B. Dolman was the most successful competitor among the women. A number of new members also competed, E. Harvey, 88, being the most successful of them. Scores in detail were:— A Grade
