LONDON, April 16. Ladderless stockings made from byproducts of coal and oil may shortly be on sale at 15s lid to lgn. a pair, rhe new Lylon stockings come irom America, and a pair is now on view at the Birmingham University Mining Society’s exhibition. They are fleshcoloured. but can be dyed any colour. “The material is very delicate and not entirely wearproof,” said a member of the Mining Society. “But the stockings are the most attractive any women could wish to wear. Various firms in this country have obtained the patent rights to produce them, and they will probably soon be seen in shops over here.”
