APRIL'S 1493 PLANES (British Oflicinl Wireless.) Reed. 9 a.m. RUGBY, May ti. The plane output of the United States of America is reported from Washington to have reached the new record of 1493 machines in April The previous best was the March figure of 1216. It is stated that 78 of the April production were commercial planes, the rest going to the army, navy and Britain.
