PETER PAN DEAD

The dual Melbourne Cup winner, Peter Pan, died yesterday at Baroona Stud as a result of an accident two months ago, when he fell, fracturing a knee, which became septic. During his racing career, Peter Pan won £.14,938 in prize money. He had four years’ stud duty and sired his share of winners, his stock having won seven two-year-old races this season.
