IMPROVED SCORING
MINIATURE RIFLE CLUB POSSIBLE TO W. J. BURTON STRATTON WINS TROPHY On Saturday evening members of the Gisborne Miniature Rilie Club completed a further round of the trophy series. There was a splendid muster and the scoring again showed a marked improvement. In the A Grade, the second round in the competition was completed and by registering a fine “possible” W. J, Burton has assumed the lead by a narrow margin from C. Lloyd. The most successful competitor in the second round for the B Grade match was G. Marlin, who recorded the splendid score of 98. The B Grade ' trophy resulted in a very creditable win for W. J. Stratton, who shot consistently well throughout the match, and was closely followed by Mrs. R. Dolman. A number of new members participated in the shooting and the performance of G. A. Revell in returning a target of 94 is noteworthy. Following are the scores: — A Grade
