CHECK ON DISEASE

N.Z. PIGS AND POULTRY AUSTRALIAN QUARANTINE (Reed. April 10. 9 a.m.) CANBERRA, April 10. In order to minimise the risk of the introduction of animal diseases, the quarantine regulations have been made more stringent, and in future swine and poultry from New Zealand must show a satisfactory blood test within 14 days prior to shipment to Australia and also must be certified they had no contact with disease for six months before shipment.
